How to measure for a Bucas Rug: measure the horse from (A) the centre point of the chest, over the high point of the shoulder, to (B) the rear of the hind leg. When you have the measurement, choose the nearest size from the size table above. The lenght of body, calculated in either metric, will show you the respective length of the back seam.
Some of the Bucas rugs are offered in special sizes: S, M, L, XL. If your horse measures in between these sizes you might be better getting the smaller size, as the larger size might move around more or end up pulling the rug backwards.

The Bucas Therapy Cooler Neck is also available to complete the full body effect of the Therapy range. The material covers the mane and crest area of the horse and is made from an extremely fine, stainless steel mesh so it reflects the magnetic fields created inside the body.

The natural magnetic fields stimulates blood circulation and oxygen flow in the horse’s neck and crest, which heals and reduces both swelling and inflammation and promotes faster healing. When the Therapy Neck is combined with a Therapy rug it will help give the full effect of the therapy rug to your horse. It can be left on your horse for 24 hours, 7 days a week if necessary as it is NOT a magnetic rug, but it is advised to slowly increase and monitor the use of the Therapy rug when first used.

Silk-feel lining against the mane helps prevents rubs to this area. The Therapy properties cannot be washed out, meaning your neck piece can be washed like a normal Bucas product!

Material and Care

Washing Instruction:

Bucas products can be washed in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30°C on the gentle cycle. Do not use fabric softener. Air dry only and do not tumble dry. Use only Bucas Rug Wash for products with waterproof fabric. Household detergents may damage or destroy the waterproof coating. Do not dry clean.
